Privacy Policy
Last updated 25 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data mgmyr.com handles and why. In short: no tracking, no data sales, and nothing is loaded from other services until you choose it.
Who is responsible
mgmyr.com is run by MGMYR AB · Stockholm, Sweden. Contact: contact@mgmyr.com.
What we collect
When you visit. Our hosting provider (Google Firebase) automatically logs technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. We use it only to deliver the site and keep it secure.
When you email us. If you contact us, for example through the contact or licensing forms (which open your own email app), we receive your name, email address and message. We use it to answer you and, if we work together, to handle the assignment.
We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or social media pixels, and we do not sell personal data.
Cookies and embedded content
mgmyr.com sets no tracking cookies. Your cookie choice is saved in your own browser (local storage) so we don't ask again. The only cookie of our own is a strictly necessary sign-in cookie used by the site owner.
The beat store on the Beats page is provided by BeatStars, and videos may come from YouTube. They are only loaded if you choose "Accept all" in the cookie box, or when you click to open them. When they load, BeatStars or YouTube may set their own cookies and receive your IP address under their own privacy policies (BeatStars, Google/YouTube). You can change your choice any time under "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page.
Purchases
Beats and licenses are bought through BeatStars. BeatStars handles checkout, payment and delivery and is responsible for the personal data it collects in that process. We receive the order information we need to deliver your license and support you.
Legal basis and retention
Technical logs: our legitimate interest in running a secure site. Deleted automatically by the hosting provider, usually within 30 days.
Emails and orders: our legitimate interest in answering you, or the contract when you buy a license. Kept as long as needed, and for 7 years when Swedish accounting law requires it.
Who else handles the data
Google (hosting and email) processes data on our behalf and may do so outside the EU/EEA. Such transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, and receive it in a portable format. Email contact@mgmyr.com and we will answer within one month. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.
